Program AMAL50 Pekayatim

Campaign Objective

Provide basic food for asnaf and needy people in Kelantan worth RM50. “And they give food in spite of love for it – to the needy, the orphan and the captive”

“Sadaqah wipes out sins like water extinguishes fire.” – Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W)

RM50 will help us provide 1 box of food to a needy family. Your donation can lighten their kitchen expenses and relieve the burden of low-income families.

Many people were affected by the Covid19 pandemic that hit the world last year. Most of them lost their source of income as many sectors were forced to shut down. Due to this, poverty and hunger rates in Malaysia are greatly increasing.

Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim Kelantan which is also known as PEKAYATIM [Kelantan Orphans’ Welfare Organization] thus would like to raise funds to help those in need or affected by the Covid19 pandemic.

PEKAYATIM took the initiative to share basic foods (such as rice, cooking oil, soy sauce, sardine, salt, sugar and so on) to the asnaf people and those in need specifically in Malaysia through #AMAL50 program. The suggested items of PEKAYATIM’s Food Basket are worth RM50, consisting of basic foods enough to cover their grocery expenses for at least 1-2 weeks or more.

In order for us to continue this tremendous work that will benefit thousands of people, WE NEED YOUR HELP! We want you to join us to provide them and their families with the necessary foods!

Below are the beneficiary categories that will be receiving the food box from PEKAYATIM :

– Families/Individuals who lost their job due to the pandemic

– Elderly who live by themselves

– Low-income families

– Single mothers

– Orphans

Let us support PEKAYATIM’s effort in saving people from starvation. Every donation from all of you means the world to the receiver.

وَيُطْعِمُونَ الطَّعَامَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِ مِسْكِينًا وَيَتِيمًا وَأَسِيرً
